Beverly Lodge South Lake Tahoe, South Lake Tahoe

Price fair, location to casinos great. Room was perfect for wife and I, nothing special-just clean and everything worked. We stay in locatioons of all sorts; Marriott, etc. This fit our needs fine for the occasion.

We had a 2-room "suite" that was very small. It kind of felt like staying in a trailer. When we went to bed there was light coming in from outside, which was fine. I fell asleep and woke up suddenly when the lamp next to our bed came on by itself! My husband just reached over and unplugged it and went back to sleep. It took me a long time to fall back to sleep. I finally fell asleep and then woke up suddenly and couldn't see a thing! Our room was totally dark. I couldn't see my hand in front of my face! That really spooked me. Then, the tv in the front bedroom came on by itself. My oldest daughter was in that room and it woke her up. Needless to say, I didn't get any sleep that night. I was soooo happy to leave that place. I'm assuming that they have faulty wiring or something. I am totally not making this up. The only reason we stayed here in the first place was because we dropped our son off at Silver Lake because he was working there and decided to spend the evening in Lake Tahoe. From now on I will shop around and pay what I have to in order to get a quality place to stay.
