Wow what a view-we will be back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/3/09
We are full time RV'ers who just left this park. It is fabulous with spectacular views and star gazing. The store/resturant has a great selection and get this delivers food or groceries to your site. MMM-mmmm good food too. There is a pool, spa, rec room, library, gym, bingo room, hiking trail, dog run, and the showers are very clean and spacious. They have free internet in the clubhouses. You can see the stars and the casino lights of Laughlin at night along with the Colorado River. The staff is friendly and helpful and we had a great time. Its nice and quiet at night. We will be back when we return to this area.

This park has turned over a new leaf
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/20/09
We visited this park about a year ago and said we would never come back the managers were rude, loud, hostile, their dog was yapping all the time and he brought it into the store. They had the personality of a dead fish. In February we got a call letting us know they had new management and would we give them another chance. I AM SO GLAD WE DID!!!! The store has been cleaned, stocked and management has changed although we saw the rude couple there? We are impressed, better food at the deli, more selection at the store and the mean, rude, old biddies have been replaced with helpful people who smile. They have bingo year round with prize and for only two dollars you can even play the power ball!! We enjoyed the bingo crowd. We did have problems with our internet so we spoke to the new store manager who was friendly, helpful and although she could not fix it, she was great and refunded our money. We used the free internet in the clubhouse so all worked out in the end. We will be back next year. My wife is so happy as she loves the view but we just could not stand the old management.....WHAT A CHANGE. Now we will recommend this park to everyone!!!!! The internet sucks but the view, staff, store, deli, and facilities are fantastic. They have a dog run and my mini dobbie loves it. One other great thing was the they now have breakfast, lunch, and dinners at the deli and they deliver to the sites-just like room service. We had the best barbeque pork ribs delivered right to our site and the second night we walked up got the best club sandwiches we ever had and ate outside the deli on the patio area by the fountain. IT WAS GREAT

What a view :)
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/19/09
We are full time RVers which have stayed at many parks and just visited this park...the view is fantastic!! We are going to the Grand Canyon next and will be sure to stay at this park on our way back. My wife spoke to the staff in the Deli/store they were great so helpful, the manager was there and was very friendly. We also met the owner who was so friendly. We stayed three days and the staff was great, food was good and store has a pretty good selection. There was a bit of wind but the view and staff made it worth it. Grounds are kept up well. We had trouble with our internet but the manager was great and took care of it with a smile. The park is close to the river, lake and a stone throw from the Laughlin casinos and shows. We had a great time and will be back in a week or so.

Great experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/24/09
Since the change of management has occured the place is so much better. They management is open to bring in new things into the park. The selection at the deli has improved immensely. So many more choices. Also now they have the new clubhouse opened and it is beautiful. It is a beautiful park with great views. We will definetly be back next year.

Wow!! What a difference.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/24/09
We love this park but the prior management was horrible..rude and just unorganized!! WELL THEY GOT NEW MANAGEMENT!!!!!! AND YOU CAN'T BELIEVE THE DIFFERENCE!!! The new managers have cleaned up the store and deli and expanded the meals and now have dinners that are great. You can get an answer immediately from the new managers who are so helpful and friendly!!! The new clubhouse is great with private large bathrooms and all tile floors-so nice. What a change we can't wait to go back this winter.

It's Too Bad
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/6/09
We've met some wonderful people here, but it's the last time we'll stay at this RV Park. Someone has given it a 5 star. I think they need to revaluate. The park is not bad, if it was run properly. No one seems to know what they're doing. If there is a problem no one knows who to contact to fix it. We've spoken with some permanent residents who say the Managers Ed and Doris don't get the backing from the owners they need to run the park efficentally. There's vehicles speeding through the park at all hours of the night, people in the pool and hot tub being very loud way past quiet hours, where's the security. We've been coming to Laughlin and Bullhead for 15 years straight and have stayed for varying amounts of time and usually at the Riverside. We stayed there again last year and the internet was terrible, they charged 24.95 per month and didn't care whether you got service or not. We decided then that we would try another park. We booked this park a year in advance and were promised that the internet here was good. My husband and I run a business and need to be connected continously, as well as connected to our home. We have VOIP and that doesn't work when the internet is down, or very slow which is the norm at this park. The services they say they have, they don't. They have a new club house under construction, that was supposed to be completed last spring. When we were here October - end of January there was still nothing happening with it. We will definetly go somewhere else next year. This could be a very nice park if run right !

Doesn't Anyone Check
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/27/09
Don't any of these clubs that sponsor or have their names out front like Woodalls, Good Sam, AAA ever check to make sure the parks are really up to their standards. I think not, or this one would not have such great ratings by these companies. Granted this park has the view if you're in the right sopt, it has a hot tub, a pool that needs tending to, the laundry that most days only has half of the machines working. The ybrag to have shade trees on every site, again not so.The Horseshoe pit is a joke as well as the Bocce Ball Court which is all gravel approx 4 feet by 40 feet, 3 feet from he rear of someones RV. The internet service is terrible. You can goes days without internet access, and they have the nerve to charge for this, and we're told no refunds for bad service. They have a complaint book that no one looks at. No one enforces the 10:00PM - 7:00AM quiet hours or the barking dogs, especially the managers dog we could hear from our space half way down the park. The speed limited of 5mph is definately never enforced. I've hear tennants yell at people to slow down as they speed by. They also brag to have a 14 acre event centre. Didn't see that the whole time we spent there. I think it was someone's imagination or dream of future development. There is one walking trail, not trails, if you can call it that. It's along side the cliff of the park, that's it. The clubhouse is so small you can't fit more that 20 people in it at a time . Never again.

Once is enough!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/4/09
The view is spectacular, the showers and washrooms are clean, and the grounds are well kept. The hot tub and the pool are good, but small. On the opposite side of the fence, the sites are not level, and are very rough gravel. The laundromat is too small and only 50 % operational most of the time. The staff are friendly and try to be helpful, but the extra charges laid on by the company, such as a charge for using a credit card to pay for services, that do not live up to their advertising, such as the internet and tv, are totally unacceptable. The stated facilities on the web site, such as the event area, 2 clubhouses, and bocci courts are far from complete. The mini mart and post office which is open to the public has insufficient parking to serve the public and the tenants, as is parking for the laundromat. We will definitely not be coming here again.

Never Again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/3/09
Never Again ! mostly because of the wind. If parked in the right spot you get a wonderful view of Laughlin with bright lights at night, this would be a premimum plus lot, even windier and costs more. The view of the mountains, and the sunset are spectacular. A main arterial runs right by the park up to the hosptial 1/4 mile away, and can get very noisy, with traffic all day, along with police cars, ambulances etc with sirens blarring. Now for the park. They're boasting with facilities they don't have. Two clubhouses, well they have one very small clubhouse that no more than 20 people are comfortable in it, God help them if they ever had a fire, and another has been underconstruction for months. I have yet to see the 15 acre event center. Horseshoe & Bocce pitsches are a joke. Bocce Ball pitch is gravel, and will damage your Bocce balls. WIFI that's another joke. Very slow, that's if you can get on, and they have the nerve to charge $24.95 for it. Then there's the park rules regarding barking dogs. To bad the rules don't apply to the managers Ed and Doris and their yappy little dog. They advertise as a 5 star. Sites are gravel, not level, no picnic tables at sites. The pool is small. The laundry has 14 dryers, 7 of which are out of order, very, very, hot and shrink clothes. They do however have free popcorn everyday. There was a man in the office having popcorn the other day, had a kernel stuck in his throat, asked for a glass of water and was turned down, (could we say law suit), they have a couple of cranky older ladies in the office. No security and open entrance after 1:00 AM. They offer beer sales to the passing public all day up until closing. When using your credit card to pay for your rental, they charge an additional $12.50 for the credit card usuage. No one seems to enforce the 5 mph speed limit through the park. Unfortunately we are stuck for the time we paid for, as no refunds are made.
