Dolphin Hotel Oceanside, Oceanside

I've been to this hotel ( or motel) a lot of times! When I was in the corps me and my friends stayed there a quite a few time. We had some good parties in there. Even though in needs some improvements, I think this hotel is a very good example of the old country inns they used to have back in the mid 1800's to early 1900's. Its like a house with rooms with numbers on them. The inside of the hotel reminds me of the older structure that you can also see at the Roosevelt hotel on Hollywood BLVD but, much much smaller. I hope the owner of the hotel can do some improvements on it to look more alive. There is also the beach like a block away and also close to the military marine corps base in Oceanside. Whenever I go to visit Oceanside I always stop at the Dolphin hotel. Their room prices are also one of the most cheapest in Oceanside. You can save some money if your on a tight budget. Also, this hotel is not bunched up close together with the other hotels in Oceanside. It stands by itself and much quitier from all the noise.Especially on the weekends. For some reason I like this hotel. It brings back good memories. The staff there was always nice and I never had any problems. This hotel stands out from the others. Probablly because its older. But thats OK. Whenever I visit Oceanside, I stay at the Dolphin.

Staying in this hotel reminds one of the 1950's and 1960's.Freindly staff & close to beach. Not the mose "actractive" hotel on the outside,but don't let that fool you. On the inside it's a great place to stay. Would go back again and again.Close to everything,from restaurants to car rental,beach,bars and main attractions.Train station is only one block away.

ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS THAT WAS THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! there was rude people...not only the people that worked there but the other guests,not very clean,small rooms... BUT....the only thing that was good about the hotels was it was 4 blocks from the beach...i do not recomened this hotel!!
