Dirty, rude management, broken sink, bloodstains on sheet, garbage in drawers, no trashcan, no pool (although it is advertised as having pool and spa). But the worst is the rude management.
Story: Booked on-line. Arrived in evening. Got key to room. When we went inside we recognized that we had rented a dump for the night. The sink handle was lying in the scummy sink, broken. The shower was a uniform dingy gray. Went to the front desk to demand a refund.
On the way there I checked out the pool - empty and obviously so for many a long year. When the manager came out to the front desk, I made our displeasure quite clear and asked for a refund (we hadn't even finished unpacking our car for the night). She steadfastly and rudely denied me a refund. Very bad karma on this manager and her family. We contacted the police who were very understanding and agreed that the place was a trashy dump, but could do nothing. Save your money: sleep in your car.
I recommend the Super 8 by BYU if you're pinching your pennies. It's a couple of dollars cheaper, offers a continental breakfast, clean rooms (with a coffee maker) and a pool and spa. The staff there are EXCELLENT.
its crazy 1.. its a dump dope haven hookers and on main intersection big time noisey thats fine my bad but i left by mistake property by mistake 100 dollars value well i called rude no lost and found the maid gets to keep everything she finds better than health plan my lawsuite in proggres many other places better
The worst hotel I've ever stayed in - and I've been in many budget hotels. Everything was dirty and stained. We brought our own sheets up from the car, and still felt uncomfortable.
All the reviews here are accurate descriptions. There is no reason to stay here. Save yourself the displeasure and sleep in your car.
This motel is located conveniently close to Brigham Young University. The water is definitely hot - it's difficult to get cold water. Sheets and towels were clean. Overall, I was very satisfied with my visit.
(No problem of not having toilet paper.)
Beware, these people also run the Travelers Inn (diagnal across the street). I reluctantly paid for one night for my son on my credit card and when he left HE owed for more nights. The woman manager or owner charged my credit card again, WITHOUT my permission. She said that my son told her to. I wonder if he told her to jump off a cliff, would she do that?
Unforunately we didn't check out the room before we paid and they would not refund our money.
Room was dirty, carpet was stained, there was vomit on the door frame of the bathroom, mirror was unusable, bathtub was dirty, pillows where stained beyond belief, along with stains on the blanket.
When management was advised of the vomit their response was "So?"
I did go and get a clean blanket from the desk after a long arguement with the clerk about overall cleanliness.
I cannot believe that Executive Inns would allow one of their motels get so run down and still have their name attached.
I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and this is by far the most filthy, run down, old, expensive, and awful place I have ever in my life been to. There was absolutely no maid service, no clean towels, we couldn't even get any toilet paper. There was no cold water at all, just steaming hot water that burns you. There was no bed cover for the mattress and mold growing in the shower. I am not a rude negative person, and try to have a good attitude about things, but this made me completely disgusted. The microwave have someones food in it. There was no ice machine and the pink chair in our room was so fillthy that it was going brown. They supply NOTHING for you and i dont want you to go through what we did. The light swithch did not even have a cover for it so there were cords coming out that could electrocute you. The carpet didnt fit the room and was filthy. The table was so sticky with syrup or who knows what that you could not even touch it. The drain was clogged with so much hair that the water took about an hour to make it through all the hair and whatever. The pillows litterally stunk. This place would get in trouble with a safety and health inspection. So, if you want to stay here bring your own toilet paper, towels, mattress cover, cold water, and lots more. There is a hotel right by it that is called the travelodge, it is cheaper and so much nicer. It was just remodeled. I would recommend that. -Brandon
