Spencer Lake Rv Park, Shelton

It is right on the lake with table views. I have stopped by many times over the years and remember when it was just a tavern years ago. New owners have focused on the food and service. It is great with a very good prime rib,but my favorite is the chicken fried steak for breakfast. Very reasonable prices and friendly people. Casual dining experience and easy going atmosphere with the ambiance of the outdoors . I have fished the lake many times, and surprised that trout and blackberry pie are not on the menu? I have never stayed at the RV park next to the restaurant, but would in my travels next time. It is off of HWY 3 between Shelton and Allyn on the way to Harstene Island.
