MT St Helens Rv Park, Castle Rock

Stayed here one night and arrived one hour after the office closed. We were directed to space A-1 if there is a problem. I went to the site and got chewed out because her porch light was out. I asked about the wireless as we had to get some work done, was told just to keep trying and she'd check in the morning. When a asked for some sort of compensation for the wireless not working all hell broke loose. Yelling, "we don't give any compensation", "I'm done talking about this" after barely a single minute. I asked who's the owner? Answer, "none of your business". This is the same person from the night before, now says the wireless has been down and Comcast had been out the day before for two hours and could not say what the problem was. These people were crazy rude, shouting, and even threatening. Another person came by the RV as we were leaving yelling from the road and saying that she'd been on the internat "all night" although another had just told me it'd been down since at least the day before. Mind you, it wasn't the connection issue, by now it was the incredible unreasonable beligerent atttiude. Do not use this place. Seriously. They're frigging scary nutjobs. Anyway, the setting is hardly more than a parking lot

This is a very nice campground. It is very well taken care of and the management are very friendly. A group friendly place to stay. We have been here three times with our Winnebago Itasca Travelers group. They have a very nice recreation room with a nice kitchen available for groups to reserve for the weekend. It is located just off the highway to the Johnston Ridge Observatory at the MT St. Helens crater. Well worth the trip while staying here.
