the MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE in a hotel/motel i have ever had. and i am not too picky.COckroaches, musty smell of mold/mildew that upon entering literally made me almost puke(gag reflex),EXTREMELY dirty carpet/walls.PIMPS PROSTITUTES,CRACKHEADS,lampshade missing from lamp that when plugged in it was obvious there was a serious electrical problem (wires chewed by mice/rats maybe?).not even soap in the bathroom.torn cushions on chair.PUBIC HAIRS on sheets.NO internet connection...but highly recommended to a scientist to find new species of bedbug(literally dozens of adults visible)/roach, or mold/mildew...a previous review that actuallly recommended this place and gave it 5 stars was obviously written by management/owner, they mentioned the Marco Polo across the street which is actually a pleasant place to stay in and our first choice but happened to be full the nite that we visited seattle. The Thunderbird/fremont Inn is the absolutely worst place i have seen(or smelled).do yourself(and roomates) a favor and stay away unless you want a bedbug infestation and/or want to buy crack or meth(if you want meth you may want to go to the office), or if you want a $20 crack w**re and the accompanying crabs/body lice..in all seriousness, you are better off sleeping in an alley or hunkered down under a bush-seriously the worst experience i ever had in a hotel/motel..ended up staying at Rodeo Inn in shoreline/lynnwood(just north of the seattle line) which was, along with MArco Polo, a very nice place for the same amount of money-clean and even had a miocrwave...i am not picky but this is the ABSOLUTE WORST HOTEL/MOTEL EVER and i have seen some pretty bad ones.surprised it hasnt been closed down by the health department-STAY AWAY!!!
I have never stayed at this motel but I live a couple of blocks from it. This motel caters to prostitutes and drug dealers. Because of the 'clientele' of this property, my neighborhood has become a dangerous one.
Please, do not patronize this motel and perpetuate the crime in my neighborhood.
I stayed here and was very unhappy. After reading a very nice review on Yahoo, I booked a room for 55$. During my stay, I was surprised to get constant knocks on my door at night by random shady strangers. Also, there seemed to be a hooker next door as there was a lot of activity next door. I did not feel safe!!
The price is very affordable, yet the rooms better quality then Marco Polo(across the street) which is "AAA" standard.
