No Cabbages Bed & Breakfast, Gig Harbor

The incredible lack of professionalism in this place was mind blowing. The only great things were the breakfast and the location. When we originally booked the room, we were promised total quiet, a private bath, complete rest and peace and quiet. Not only was the bathroom filthy, but the crowd level and lack of courtesy was incredible. We had planned a day of reading and rest and at least one nap!! Unbeknownst to any of us, even though we'd been checking in for THREE WEEKS, a party happened that day and the place was taken over. We stayed away all day, foregoing our nap, our rest, our reading, until late in the evening, so that WE would be accommodating!! Nobody thanked us. We were also promised total privacy, and the first floor was promised to us that night, but we came home to a group of yacking people right outside the door!! There was no rest and no peace and quiet, and there was a complete absence of caring or conscientiousness in the experience. My friend worked so hard for weeks to ensure that my stay would be quiet and tranquil and it couldn't have been less so. I am so angry on behalf of my friend who was completely lied to, mishandled, and we were both treated with utter carelessness. When one is not uptight, it does have to equal being sloppy and rude. Sadly, this was a completely miserable experience. DO NOT GO THERE if you are looking for quiet, rest, reading, naps or tranquility!!! This is not a business!!
