White Sands Motel, Alamogordo

I stayed here in April 2009 for about a week and very pleased with my choice of accomodations. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms clean, the bed comfortable, and the water hot. There were plenty of stations to choose from on the TV and had Wi-Fi available. There's is a small continental breakfast - cereal, danish, juice coffee and tea. The rooms are bit small but the rest more tham made up for that. The location is close to most of the major attractions in the area. Also, lots of restaurants within walking distance. Not a lot of noise from the road as it is set back. I was surprised at how many amenities there are based on the price. At $40 a night for a single it really can't be beat.

I wish there was a motel like this in every town. Clean, comfy bed, friendly hostess, fridge & microwave in room, free wifi, continental breakfast and a great room rate. This place is 5 stars in my book.

We found this little motel delightful, as we were looking for a Route 66 type place to stay for a great value. The rooms were very clean, with a microwave and a mini-fridge. and the owners were exeptionally friendly. They even provided a simple, but nice continental breakfast consisting of coffee, cereal, milk, and pastries. Even though the property is located on White Sands Blvd, it is relatively quiet because it also borders a nice residential area.
