Dust and down bedding is not for allergic guests.  While the linens and stained towels seem to be clean, the floors, windows, and light fixtures need more attention.  There is no restaurant or lounge, although several nearby. Breakfast consists of pre-packaged muffins, individual boxes of cereal and stale bagels and Danish.  There was no bread.   The waffle-maker is awkwardly situated by the juice and coffee station, making it difficult to wade through the crowd waiting for waffles.  The pool was fun, but the sauna appeared to be closed.  The deck was dirty, which gave us no choice but to track dirt into the water.  The outside areas around the entrances and smoking areas needed attention.  We checked in on Friday, and Sunday morning saw the same garbage in the lobby, the outside areas, and the interior hallways.With a little more attention to cleanliness, this could be a very special weekend getaway spot. The antiques from the 18th and 19th century lend great charm to the overall decor. We would stay again if they could clean up their act.
