North Wind Motel, Geneva

This place was dirty & disgusting!!!!! I would have rather stayed at the Bates Motel!!!! Even the locals told us how bad this place was!!!!! Could have left, but would have been out $80.00 a night. Absolutely no refund, no matter what!!!!!! Doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating!!!

This is an understatement, it should have the board of health close it down is more of a reality. Online & over the phone we were promised the King cabin for 4 days from 8/12 thru 8/15, however upon arrival was told we would have a double room that you could barely get around the bed to the bath. Non American management was nasty, room was filthy, carpets were too gross to walk on barefooted. Upon refusing the room we were advised they would charge my credit card anyway, which they have attempted though I'm disputing the charge. Thankfully Geneva on the lake is great place, with some wonderfull folks at the Chamber of Commerce,eager to help out, who pulled a rabbit from their hat for sure in finding us another cabin at the last minute in order to save our trip. DON'T LET THESE CROOKS OR THIS DUMP RUIN YOUR STAY IN THIS WONDERFULL VILLAGE!
