Walhonding Hills Campgrounds, Walhonding

This place is amazing. I have been camping here for years and i love it. the owners, terry and cindy, and their two boys brian n kevin are very good people and run a great place. the rules are simple you read them, you understand them, and u have no problems. the owners enforce their rules and i really truly respect that. they really try to keep it safe and fun for every one. all in all great place and i will be back for years to come.

Love the campground, awesome place to go if you like atvs and buggies. Swimming pool and river close by. Good riding trails. However, the down side: As the title says " owners lack considerably in customer service period". Facilities need updated for example: electrical, and water. Conclusion, not sure if I want to go back or not???

The campsite it self was very clean but the owners very rude, don't know how to treat customers. I truly belive the owners are good people but need to learn on how to treat people.

Could not ask for a better place to spend a weekend with my wife and kids. If you follow the rules wont have any issues. the owners and their two boys do a great job to make the camp grounds clean and fun for evryone.

me and my wife are seasonal campers there we love it! the owners are a little short with people somtimes but they work long hours and most of the people are drunk. overall cindy and terry are really nice people and they run a beautiful campground cant wait to go back in the spring!!!!

my son 13 years of age was cussed at by the owners son which is totally uncalled for i will never let my son return to this campsite

Beautiful camp ground great sites but ATV's everywhere which wouldn't be so bad if they enforced the 11pm curfew on them. People were riding at 3AM and nothing was done about it. We were of course exhausted the next day overslept and were late leaving and the owner stopped us on our way out. She reminded us of what time checkout was and we appologized and explained what had happened. I was shocked when she rudely told us that check out time was still the same no matter what happened. So curfew on the screaming ATV's is late and that's ok but don't check out late because of it. Never a "thank you, come back and see us again", no apology just very rude. I'll never go back and it's too bad they are running an otherwise nice campgrounds very poorly. Oh and take cash that's all they accept here. $26. a night and Hocking Hills charges $18 and there's a pool there too even if you're in the primitive sites they'll let you go over to the other campground and let you swim.
