The Hilltop Motel, Clear Lake

I have stayed there several times. They know who i am when i check in, the rooms are always clean and nice, will be staying there again real soon

The motel was very inexpensive and close to everything. It was a fun atmosphere with tons of options for entertainment right there. We only stayed one night but wish it could have been more. Before we left we booked an entire block of rooms for next summer to hold a family reunion. People of all ages could enjoy themselves at this motel. .

We just got back from a visit there and it was wonderful! The rooms were nice and clean, the pool and hot tub were wonderful. There was a great patio to grill out on (all spices and utensils were available), or make pizza for the kids, and a popcorn machine. There's a game room and an area outside with outdoor games. There were DVD's to borrow for the kids. It was a great experience, we booked for next year! Was a great price and the owners were friendly and acted like they enjoyed having us there. I would definetly recommend especially for families with kids.

This is an old motel now under new ownership which is working hard to update it. Not luxurious, but fair value for the money. Amenities include heated outdoor pool and hot tub, grilling and outdoor dining area, close proximity to Surf Ballroom, some kitchenette units. Works well for small group and family gatherings. Friendly staff (who are also the owners). We've been going there for years and like the changes we're seeing. Plan to go back next year.

WOW!! LOVE IT!! The staff is VERY friendly and is always there if you need them. There are games to play, an area to grill out w/ your family & friends, awesome view of the lake and a pool that is WARM & lots of fun. We love how the rooms have a different theme. Can't wait to see the Coke Cacola room the next time we are there. Thanks for such an awesome weekend. :)

This place is extremely close to the lake and the surf ballroom. The atmosphere is great for families and relaxing. The rooms are updated and the price is reasonable.
