Villa Moderne Motel, Charlevoix

This is not the brand new Holiday Inn Express or some other corporate motel. It is older and family run. It is clean, reasonable and in a great location. We stay for two nights for a travel softball tournament and have gone back three years in a row and will continue.

Filth, disrepair, unsafe, mold, stains, dirt, shall I go on? Will never stay again. I booked 2 nights but canceled after the first. Slept in my clothes on top of their covers because it was so gross. WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T LIFT THE BATH MAT!! The positive reviews can only be from the owner or manager trying to get business because no one in their right mind would ever stay here!

Even though the staff was sorry for the condition of the room, from torn and stained sheets, to not wanting to give us a refund for the second night after the room being very old and peeling paint and furniture I really did not want to sit on. Strong smell of musty and smoke..very disapointed, as well as others we spoke to who were staying there.

This motel was in a great location and the rooms were very clen and cozy.The management goes above and beyound to make sure your stay is wonderful.I make a reservation a year in advance just so i can get my favorite room.
