Briarcliff Motel, North Conway

This motel was absolutely adorable the rooms were very well taken care of. The people cleaning the rooms were also very friendly & helpful. Sara at the reception desk was always very bubbly and helpful with any inquiries we had. i would absolutely go back to this motel also the pool is very nice and most important the grounds were very clean. It was a wonderful stay.

Pros: - relatively clean (slight stain in middle of sheet, wallpaper & door in bathroom had splatter marks.) Tub, toilet & sink spotless! - small refrigerator. - A/C unit is very powerful. - Huge sink in the bathroom. - Check-in/out was easy and front desk was very friendly. - quiet - could not hear neighbors, street traffic or noise from retaurant next door Cons: - Rooms are very dark and small. - Air freshener overpowers the room. - Have to maneuver in the bathroom to close the door and reach the towels. - We thought the beds were very uncomfortable. - Warning: food at restaurant next door is awful & headlights shine into room, even thru closed curtains Neutral: - Location is ok, but no view unless you get a room with a screened porch which overlooks the mountains, I'm told. - There's a pool, but we were there for just one night, so we never saw it. Overall: 1 night stay is fine. More than that I'd go out of my mind. We couldn't wait to leave. For the money, I'd go elsewhere. Red Jacket, Intervale, Alpine Village, Red Apple, etc.

Staff was pleasant. Rooms were clean. Great location - within walking distance to many attractions. Quiet area - safe for kids. Nice pool area. Would definitely stay there again!
