My husband and I are new to camping. We live in Portsmouth and decided when we purchased our new camper to camp locally until we got use to it. Our first camping outting with the two campers we purchased turned out very diserable. We would recommend this campground to anyone. It's close to Newport attractions and to local beaches.
my husband and i came here this past weekend we live in fall river but we had never been to this campground before we were pleasently surprised the staff was very very pleasant and helpful and the whole campground was very very clean, the bathrooms were very clean and the showers were great really hot water felt great. there wasnt to many campers around but it was very peaceful. we spent some of friday and a good part of saturday out in the woods on the hiking trails wich is a great place to see some beutiful nature scenary i suggest the blue trail which brings you right to the pond where you can fish, all in all we had a great time and cant wait to go back.
