We stayed at the motel over 20 years ago and decided to stay there again for our weekend trip. We pulled in and I knew I could not stay, just from the look from the outside. We did check in and went to our room. The airconditioner did not work, the room stunk and the door had been left open ( as many room doors that were not occupied.) I immediately said that I was not staying there, but we needed to find a place to stay as we had an event in Falmouth that we would be attending. We spoke to some people, and luckily we were able to find another place to stay. I did not care how much I had to pay or even if I would get my money back for the motel room that is how awful and scarey the place was. One redeeming feature is that we went back to Motel 7 Seas to gather our belongings and check out. The desk attendant was very pleasant and much to our surprise, they gave us our money back. Later when talking to a friend, they reported to us that there had been a stabbing there about a month ago and that it was not a good place to stay. It is not worth the money you save as I was willing to spend whatever amount I needed to to get out of the place.
...and sometimes not even then. Example: Motel 7 seas. The locals we met referred to it as "Motel 7 fleas" and it has a reputation for being a crack house. If you don't mind the smell of cat urine, are not concerned with the fear of having your car broken into by what appear to be permanent residents, and overall appearance of a room that should be condemned than I would highly recommend this place.
