Won't go back
Price is right, but cheaper for a reason. Not modern at all- out of date decor. Clearly they spend no money on upkeep either. We couldn't see in our bathroom mirror, fixtures were rusted, windows OLD and one broken and wouldn't shut, the other we couldn't open. Clean enough, I guess, but musty, though I was told all hotels near the water are. The toilet often didn't fill back up and ran all the time (room 1). The maids were pretty good. You pay for ice, no laundry facilities, if you like that, no continential a.m. cup of coffee, and no pool towels, which I wasn't happy about. Towels are very bally and rough and TINY! TV got few channels, most fuzzy. Internet was difficult to get and maintain. Pool is blah, 3 ft. throughout, not shallower on one end for toddlers. Rooms are much smaller than they appear in pictures- very tight for a family of 4 with two younger kids. Our beds were horribly uncomfortable with slats of wood underneath. Main office can't fit more than a couple people at the counter, but staff was nice. Other guests were nice but very predominately French-speaking (if you're looking to have conversation with new people in English). It was not horrible, and you'd enjoy it more than us if many of these things don't matter to you, but I personally will be seeking other quarters if we returned to the area. Oh, lastly- we arrived on a Saturday but they had us down to arrive Sunday. No written confirmation, so I suggest you follow up more than once as I did once and it was still inaccurate.
