Do Not Stay Here
By ,
I was traveling by myself and had been on the road for 14 hours and just wanted a bed, ESPN and a shower. I've stayed a some less than 4 star places before while traveling but this one is by far the worst. As the other review states there is no way to secure the door (dead bolt/chain) so had to prop chair under door handle. TV only received 6 channels, ESPN was one, however sound on that channel and 3 of three others did not work or full of static. No towels in the room. Went to the office and was given a wash cloth and a towel no much bigger than a hand towel. Shower did have good water pressure and hot water. Some very unsavory characters hanging around also.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!
By ,
This place is absolutely disgusting!!! There were brown streaks all over the walls, as though they hadn't been cleaned in years. The box spring mattress looked like it was 100 years old, stained and torn up. There was someone else's hair on the bed and the toilet (the sheets had not been changed). The bath tub and toilet had stains all over them. The carpet had dark stains all over it and chunks of it missing. I didn't even want to take my shoes off, let alone sleep there....not to mention the door had a pop lock and nothing else, so it didn't seem very secure. My husband and I felt like we were walking into a scene straight out of a horror movie. We didn't even feel comfortable leaving our dog in the room while we attended the concert that we travelled there for. We were only there long enough to make a reservation at another nearby hotel, and then asked for our money back and left. We ended up at the Red Roof Inn a couple exits up, which was like heaven compared to this nasty place. The only reason I gave this place 1 star is because the system made me. I would rate this far into the negatives if I could. You could not pay us to stay there!

never again

The only things I liked about the motel was that it was available on a whim. Other than that it was terrible. There were stains all over the walls, blood stains on the mattresses, cigarette burns in the comforter, holes in the bathroom door, and there werent even fitted sheets on the beds. The place needs a major cleaning. BUT, there was running water so I guess that is a plus

Last Stay at Coaches Inn
By ,
Stayed here on a recent visit with our daughter & son n law. At 2:30am the smoke detector started chirping (low battery I assume), when I called the front desk to report the problem, I was told to just remove the smoke detector from the ceiling & remove the battery from the unit. I don't think that I've ever stayed at a hotel where I was required to join the maintenance department & fix problems. Especially at 3 in the morning. We had arrived at this particlular location ~11pm the night before & we were so tired that we didn't pay that much attention to the room before we went to sleep, but the next moring we noticed that the mattresses on the bed were soiled & just awful looking. I think that at least the sheets were clean but at any rate this will be the last time that we stay at this particular hotel & when other choices exist we will definitely choose another chain of places to stay...
