OMG - AWESOME AND AWE INSPIRED
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/04/08
What I like about this place - THE PEOPLE - the owners/ operators Becky and Jack are so cool and they are friendly and get to know the regulars and treat you like family. Newcomers are treated just as well (that's why we became regulars.) The regulars also are awesome. THE RIVER - tumbling over the rocks makes the most awesome sound and soothing scenery. You feel SAFE - I tent camp there every year and a few times it was just me (a single mom and my young daughter) THE NATURE - has been maintained as much as practical safety allows.I go every October 21+ years and camping allows me to afford to stay a full week, I've been in the spring as well, even stayed in a motel ONE time. I've stay in the campground when the temps were in the teens and during a flood - the water and power stayed on and Jack and Becky check on us and kept us aware of the conditions and expectations. Wolfe campground has my loyalty and recommendation for singles, couples and families with or without pets. What I dislike - Becky won't give me a job and a place to winter so I can move up there full time.

I love it there
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/26/07
When I was a little girl my parents took me and my best friend there every summer. I remember it so much that Now I'm going to take my family up there. My husband has herd about it from me so much he can't wait to see it. I love the mountains, water rafting, Hiking in the mountains. I wish I can live there. I love the mountains. Now I live in Fort Walton, Florida on the beach. The beach is nice. But there is nothing like the mountains. I used to live in Hendersonville, NC. MY mom misses it to. Thank you so much for sharing great memories with me. Christy Maldonado
