Oak Grove Motel, Atlantic Beach

We have stayed there for years .love the family , who owns the place and if it were not for them and the Oak Grove Motel , there would be no reason for us to return to the area . We will miss Stanley, who passed away earlier this year but was blessed enough to spend two whole months with him last year .It is centrally located with easy access to anything you could need or want . The beach is not crowded and exceptionally clean , bordering on private . This is a good place to relax and enjoy going to the Beach and it feels like home the family had over the years made this posable by the way they take care of their customers . clean ,quiet ,priced right , and unless you just want to be seen at a chain Hotel , this is the place......(No Complaints here)

What can I say, I feel like when I come to stay at Oak Grove Motel , I have come back home. The owners are so sweet and they keep this motel in good shape. I have come here in the past with my parents; however, I plan on coming with my husband this summer. i love the fact that they have kitchenettes, and I can walk the boardwalk to get to the beach, or simply walk to local restaraunts and gift shops. I have stayed at Oak Grove Motel with Stanley and his wife over a number of years and on numerous occasions and would not stay anywhere else on the island! They are wonderful; and the place is very clean and comfortable. No fancy furniture or such; but clean, crisp, new or hardly used bed and bath linens. We so enjoy the rocking chairs on the porch! Best of all, the prices are right! I have never had a disappointment staying at Oak Grove Motel in Salter Path, NC!

My wife and I just happened on the Oak Grove Motel and luckily they had a vacancy for the weekend. It's an old motel but very clean and well managed and..........the price is right!! We are going back this upcoming weekend for a stay in one of the kitchenette units.

Perfect place to stay at the beach. The owners are great. The rooms are a little dated, but clean and comfortable. You can't beat this if you want to be a boardwalk's distance from the beach. We plan on returning again in the future! J. Arthur Rocky Mount, NC

My Daughter and I have stayed here several times. We were looking for some place with reasonable prices. Close to the beach, and clean. We wanted someplace where the beach is clean and not so crowded that you can't enjoy the peace and quiet. This is what I call country beach. It is so nice and peaceful, the Owners are great. I will be back again.

I have stayed here twice before & loved it. its not fancy or anything no hottub or big pool. but if your looking to not spend alot of money & be close to the beach, with good service then this is the place you wanna be. the owners are the nicest people who will help you ne* way they can.

Nice, quiet place. The kitchenette was great...saved money on food too! Immediate beach access. Clean room. The people are very nice as well. We'll definitely be visiting again this summer!
