Great location and great value
This place was extremely clean, had an iron and iron board, provided free breakfast (usually there were regular white bread, bagels, donut, grape jam, cream cheese, butter, coffee, black tea, and orange juice or grapefruit juice depending on the day, apples or bananas depending on the day; even when I was late for breakfast, there was still some left in the refrigerator). There was a nice toaster and microwave too.
If you are in a room with 5 or 6 beds, you may be under the impression that you will have to share the bathroom and the shower with 5 other people but you can also grab a towel, go downstairs and use the shower and the bathroom right next to the dining room or the one adjacent to the front lobby, which people hardly use. I know that there were free shampoo, hair conditioner and soap in the bathroom inside the dorm-style rooms but I’m not sure if there were in the bathroom downstairs. Drinking water was free 24 hours. You could get wireless internet access for free anywhere in the building and there were times 5 people in one room were surfing the internet or checking their email on their bed, in their pajamas, with their heads popped out of the blanket, minding their own business and not talking to each other. Even if your computer does not have a wireless card installed, don’t worry. There is one internet cable in the dining room and everybody can use it free of charge. There is one desk top computer in front of the front desk but you can use it only between 8AM and 12 midnight. There was also parking space for 4 cars (for additional cost) and even if another car is parked behind yours, you could still get out. You can also use your car as storage place, go in and out of the building to pick up whatever you need 24 hours a day as long as you have the key to the door on you. There was a place to hang your coat/ suit and also some storage place too (although limited) so if you are on a business trip and want to save on cost of hotels, this place should work out ok for you.
When I was there, the people who came to stay there were mostly university students or professionals from all over the world.
However, there are a few things you might need to watch out of if you decide to stay at this hotel. Make sure to check out after 8 AM and don’t come in after 12 midnight. The front desk is open only between 8AM and 12 midnight so arrange your travel plans accordingly. If you are big about cooking and can’t live without cooking at least one meal a day, this place might not be for you. There is a very nice dining place but there are no stoves and ovens for cooking. Not even hot plates.
