Whalebone Motel, Nags Head

I HAVE BEEN CALLING FOR THREE DAYS AND GET NO ANSWER. HARD TO STAY THERE IF YOU CAN'T GET ANYONE ON THE PHONE !!

I have called for two days, (morning, noon and night) and have yet been able to reach anyone to make a reservation. I believe eveything happens for a reason, so on to the next hotel.

THis motel is very old so even though it is clean its justs old. It has such a beachy feeling to it and the location is great. The management is awsome and we just had a blast.

the service was poor because they wouldn't wait on you

My fiance and I decided to start our weekly vacation a day early and arrive in the OBX the night before our rental home check in. We stayed here one night and were pleasently suprised. We arrived late and found our key waiting for us at the front office. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. We did walk into the polar circle when we opened the door to the room but a quick adjustment of the A/C unit and we were fixed up. So to those of you who want to avoid the Saturday traffic. Come down on Friday and stay at the Whale. See you there.
