Carolina Blue Motel, North Myrtle Beach

We stayed here for three nights. We had a one bedroom apartment on the second floor and our son had a one room efficiency next door. Both rooms were very clean. They are older but have been kept up very well. I usually stay at high end chains so I am very picky about cleanliness of rooms and had no complaints. There are rocking chairs on the porch and the pool is very clean also. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great value for the price, I highly recommend it!

We typically vacation here every couple of years with our children. Needless to say, we will not return ever again! Other than the room not being properly cleaned before we checked in, the water coming from the sink in the kitchen and bathroom was nasty. We planned on cooking there some nights to save money but couldn't due to the water. One morning, we woke up to regurgitated stuff that come up the pipes into the sink. Needed sheets and spoke to the front desk and they said it would be a few hours....came back a few hours later to find the office closed with a sign saying to only contact them if it was an emergency. In years past, it was a decent place to stay with family. Now, it is rundown and you couldn't pay me to stay there again. And above all this, we were told in our confirmation letter that no pets were allowed so we had to board our Shih Tzu while down at the beach....only to see the day we were leaving another couple walk out of their room with a DOG and passed the owners and they didn't say a word to them. Thoroughly displeased and will not be back!!!

we found this place for a last minute trip. very clean very friendly staff. right across the street from beach. clean pool. on the day we were leaving, were told we could hang out at pull or go to beach. a lot of hotels want you gone at check out, but not here. that is very nice to be able to do , especially when kids need a little more pool or beach time. thanks for a great weekend.

We stayed at the Carolina Blue for the first time last year. What a great experience we had. They were even re modeling the pool and it was still a great stay for us. The room was clean, spacious and just priced for a couple like us for the bike week festivities. Can't say enough good things about how we were treated and our stay. We have already reserved out spot there this year too and hope to again have a great time.

Tina and terry treat us like family,nice rooms and friendly guests help make or time at the beach the best, We will return next year!

The rooms are so nice, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, who wants a nice remodeled room with a great view! If you are on Facebook, be sure to add carolina blue

The best thing I can say is LOVE this place. The staff is super friendly. The rooms are simple , very reasonable, great for our family to get away and not spend a fortune. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone. They treat u like family, cant ask for better hospitality . Carolina blue is the only place we stay when we go to the beach. This is a great place, especially for the family. My friends try to get together and visit at least once a year. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very neat and clean. It is now ocean front, but just a very very short walk across the street and you are there. It is not a big high rise with all the amenities, but then again neither is the price!!!!! When we go to the beach, we are there for the beach, not the room. The pool is great. Would recommend this to anyone.

My husband and I have stayed at Carolina Blue many times and have enjoyed it ALWAYS! The Staff is great and we considered them " our friends"....thank you Tina and Terry for always making our stay a great one!

Great place right across the street from the beach and along canal. Very friendly staff and nice clean rooms with all the anemities. We can't wait to go back!
