Terrible Hotel

This hotel is not a five star, not even close. The food is awful (think school dinners), all the restaurants serve pretty much the same thing and it doesn't really change from day to day. The staff are constantly trying to scam you and have no manners. The entire hotel including the pool area needs an upgrade. When I first arrived I had been put in the wrong room type and ended up having to ask for the manager at reception to sort it out as the other staff refused to move me. Then the aircon wasn't working and I had to ask three times before it was fixed (I was told repeatedly there was nothing wrong with it and I must have had the door to the balcony open!) You are constantly pestered on the beach by staff asking if you want a massage, camel ride, snorkelling etc etc which gets very tiresome. The hotel itself is very noisy, there's always loud music playing (anything from local music to Britney). I would never come here again and would advise anyone who has booked to change their hotel.

the worst hotel in egypt

the hotel is old needs a refurb top to toe the food is the same every day bland and awful rooms are old and worn its not a 5 star resort more a b and b the fight 4 food is bad and those ignorant russians and the nite life ends at nine the staff are great and helpful

Wonderfull !!

We stayed at this wonderfull resort for 3 weeks in august 2007. The staff were extremely friendly and very service-minded. There are 3 buffetrestaurant for all meals, an Italian for lunch and dinner and a Chinese for dinner. Also a restaurant at beach 1. We had dinner at the barbecuerestaurant"La Veranda" it costs 5 Euro per person and it was very good, also the view. There are beachbars and a poolbar at the large pool. We received a superiorroom near beach no 3 and close to the other pool. It was more quiet there and we loved it! The food was great, lots of variety, the hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. Our daughter had here 7th birthday and they made it a very special evening. There is a waterstation where you get one bottle of water per person/per day. We would love to go again! For us it was paradise !

love sharm and pyramisa

We visited the pyramisa twice in 2006 and june 2007 and found a great improvement in service and food. The beaches were great and offered excellent snorkling. The rooms were clean and every one was very helpful and eager to please. I will recommend sharm el sheikh and the pyramisa to all my our friends. David Crawford Orange Park, Florida USA

yes we can agree with review 1 also we wanted to go swimming in the sea with our family , you was stopping further up in sharks bay but was told we would have to pay 300 LE (�30) if they both wanted to come in . and we couldnt walk up the beach as it is rocks this spoilt our holiday

Dont even go there!!!!

Poor value for money. Very very very uncomfortable beds and pillows.(Dont expect a good nights sleep for the whole of your stay) Bland repeatative food. School canteen scrum for tables. If you want a sunbed round the pool be prepared for and early rise (before 7am) or 3rd world war with the Russians. Very unhelpful and rude "Guest Relations" staff. Bar/resturaunt staff hard working, friendly and smiley. Tired hotel, should be more 3* than 5*. Needs updating.
