No Clean Towels??? 2x
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/3/06
After driving four days to arrive at Tara Inn in GA, I was greeted by waiting for the cashier to finish talking with a friend, then paid for my room key with no expanation of what they offered. At first the room was nice, until later that evening when it began to get stuffy and stink as there were no windows to open and indoor hallways. Two days later I had to call the front desk to ask if they had room service, she said yes Friday, they knocked early Thur morning when I was unprepared and did not even come in. Then housekeeping handed the trash to me and said go down the hall about 20 doors down and throw away your trash. The next day (after 3 days of no housekeeping) I went to the front desk myself to ask for clean towels, the woman said, "sorry, they are all DIRTY." By then I was done with this place, but figured one more chance. The next morning I went to ask, again 'they are dirty...' She probably saw how angry I was and offered two pool towels, only after I had to go back to my room and get the dirty ones. (I don't want those cheap towels anyways..) When checking out I was told to go back to my room and throw away the remaining trash or I would be charged!!! Horrible experience.. D-
