Majestic Beach Resort, Panama City Beach

We booked room 801 in Tower 1 a 4 bedroom condo from the owner,Susana Moreira and she took our deposit more than 2 and a half months before arrival. We had a contract. She was rude in email communications and did not return our phone calls. About five weeks before our vacation, she decided to cancel our reservation for no reason and without warning rented the condo to someone else!! Luckily, after much searching and a lot of time we were able to find another condo here at the Majestic.

I was very scared after reading all these bad reviews... so I decided I was going to write the most useful informative review I possibly could. The location was great a Winn Dixie was nearby even closer a Wal Mart & Walgreens were only a street away. When shopping don't forget if you come with a large group you might need more dishwasher soap or some Dawn. The parking was a little inconvenient, yes you must park in the parking garage across the street, but there is a bridge on the third floor so no need to cross an actual street. Also you can always park in the unloading parking to unload your groceries & luggage. Carts are available. Customer service and the front desk people are very friendly. In September the elevator didn't take long at all. The condo was decorated with cute little palm trees decor very current decor nice and clean everything was available and even toilet paper. A hair dryer, iron & vacuum cleaner. wifi is only availble by the lobby not in the rooms. theres really nothing to do at the resort when we went the pool loked boring line from a cheap hotel, and the water was cold. There was a movie theater but we didnt attend the movie. Theres an arcade but it's not free. I really didn't care since my kids never wanted to leave the water. Our clothes washer was leaking water someone came out immeditately to look at it this gentleman rung the doorbell. Check out was quick. We miss Florida the beaches and we will come back again I would reccomend The Majestic to my friends. The weather was awesome !!

What a disappointment! Very dirty . Average wait time on elevator was twelve minutes. i waited one time for 15 and I am not exagerating. If you plan on going to your vehicle plan at least thirty minutes minimum. Twelve minutes for elevator then ten minute walk to get to parking garage then another 5 minute wait on garage elevator. From there another three minute walk to car. Of course there are stairs avaiable. We had our elderly parents with us and climbing twenty flights of steps was not an option. Neither was the six deck parking garage. This is not a very convient cond. There are way better choices in PCB.

We stayed on the 18th floor view was great and the room was very nice clean and roomy. But the theater was closed our entire stay four days, one of the elevators broken, the pool in tower one was closed Friday, tower two pool was closed all day Saurday. There is a short walk fo parking. While we were there someone was complaining that people were throwing tomatoes off one of the balconys the security did nothing! Very disapointed in the towers itself and employees

A night club is right across the street and blasts music all night!!! it takes over two hours to check out , we had to wait 30-45 min just to get on elevator

We stayed in unit 2001 in tower 2. It's a very nice end unit with wonderful ocean views and 3 bedrooms. The unit is huge. Everything is nice on the property. Very clean and modern unit. I just loved it! A perfect beach getaway. Pier Park was a wonderful place to visit as well. New shops, resturants and a lovely childrens play area make pier park the best! We ate at the Back Porch which was good and also within walking distance to the resort is a resturant called Montego Bay. Great food great prices!

My teenage daughter and I stayed at the Majestic for spring break. Our studio was nicely decorated and very clean. When we opened the curtains on the full glass back wall we couldn't believe our eyes. The view of the gulf and sandy beaches was amazing. The quaint patio was nicely furnished. I really liked the double entry to our room, as you had to go through one door into a small hall to your own door. It kept a lot of the outside noise out. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was a little soft and lumpy, but that would be my only complaint. Overall, I will definitely go back and take the whole family. The indoor pool is great for small kids and rainy days. The outdoor pool also seemed in good condition, but never used it as I prefer the beach. Parking is short walk across the street, and there is an air-conditioned crosswalk from third floor. It is approx. 5 miles from Pier Park, a great outdoor mall with plenty of restaurants. Go directly through resort when making reservations as you can get much better rates. Our cleaning fee was waived because we stayed more than two nights. I would highly recommend the Majestic Beach Resort.

We've been married 36 years & neither of us got to go to spring break as kids. We had no idea what we missed! At 50+ years old, we were the oldest people on the beach..but, OMG we had a blast! The Majestic rocks. Everything we needed was at the resort, or within walking distance. Our room was everything we expected it to be & the staff was A+. We are looking forward to returning again & again.

They will get your credit card and charge it for made up fees once your gone. A week after my stay there I noticed 3 different charges to my card from Majestic, I called the front desk and they told me it was for an additional cleaning fee on top of the $25.00 cleaning fee I had already paid and a charge to clean the carpet in the room totaling $348.00. They added this to my card after they had rented the room to several other people. I will never stay there again because once they have your credit card they will add charges once your gone and there is nothing you can do.

Got a fantastic rate on a beautiful 3 bdr on the 15th floor. Being an end unit it has a private balcony in the front as well as beach side. Disappointed the main floor lounge was closed though and there's not much close by if your walking. The gentleman at the far left counter as you enter should not work with the public as that takes a personality. Which he is lacking! The girl at Starbucks was great,very friendly and helpful. Although we didn't use the pools they looked very nice. Elevators are fast and no waiting but it is Feb.. It was very cold in case your thinking of going this month.
