Lemon Tree Hotel and Suites Anaheim, Anaheim

The photos of this hotel look NOTHING like the rooms or hotel. The outside is very dumpy and old and there was even graffiti on the main signage. Its way to far from Disneyland and the neighborhood seems bad. I had the check the directions twice because I couldn’t believe this was the same place as photographed on Expedia. We stayed in a standard room and our room was disgusting (looks nothing like the nice photos online) there was mold on the ceilings in the bath tub and the carpet just looked and felt old and gross (we kept our socks on). There is no room to get ready in the bathroom and the sink look like it was from the 50’s, small and old. The sheets on the beds were scratchy and there was only 2 thin sheets no thicker comforter. The doors of the rooms slam shut so you are awaken every morning at 7am. When we inquired about checking in (Sunday 2/26 at 11am) the girl was so rude and every questions was a NO NO NO, she never once tried to make any effort to help or answer any questions (even though I knew we would most likely not be able to check in so early but I thought it didnt hurt to ask, though apparently it does). We were so uncomfortable and would never suggest anyone stay here not even to save a buck.

Well it was my daughter’s birthday and she wanted to stay a hotel near Disney so her and one of her friends she was inviting could go back and forth to the park, I had originally decided on a hotel who’s name I will not mention that is famous but seemed reasonable at this time of year. I booked to late on the day I went to book my room it was all blocked out, so I went on line and searched for hotels around Disneyland and found Lemon Tree Inn. It looked nice and the rooms were so big on the pictures I thought we are going to pay and arm and leg for this one, I called to get information and a man named Scott at the front desk answered my call. I explained our needs and how many of us there were, when he suggested the one bedroom suite I thought one bedroom I am not rich and when he told me the price I could not believe it. Two full rooms with all the comforts of home, full kitchen with all the amenities. After booking the room I saw the reviews on the hotel and one of them was so bad, I think that person was just one of those people who complain about everything. We loved it the kids loved it; we weren’t at the mercy of the hotel and the dinning hours. With the kitchen were able to bring what the kids wanted to eat so that saved in food. I will never pay 400$ to 500$ on a vacation over here again. Special thanks to Scott and Natalie Lori Reyna
