2 reviews for Lemon Tree Hotel, Anaheim
Finaly a hotel worth staying at!!!
By lorena d, 11/07/09
Well it was my daughter’s birthday and she wanted to stay a hotel near Disney so her and one of her friends she was inviting could go back and forth to the park, I had originally decided on a hotel who’s name I will not mention that is famous but seemed reasonable at this time of year. I booked to late on the day I went to book my room it was all blocked out, so I went on line and searched for hotels around Disneyland and found Lemon Tree Inn. It looked nice and the rooms were so big on the pictures I thought we are going to pay and arm and leg for this one, I called to get information and a man named Scott at the front desk answered my call. I explained our needs and how many of us there were, when he suggested the one bedroom suite I thought one bedroom I am not rich and when he told me the price I could not believe it. Two full rooms with all the comforts of home, full kitchen with all the amenities. After booking the room I saw the reviews on the hotel and one of them was so bad, I think that person was just one of those people who complain about everything. We loved it the kids loved it; we weren’t at the mercy of the hotel and the dinning hours. With the kitchen were able to bring what the kids wanted to eat so that saved in food. I will never pay 400$ to 500$ on a vacation over here again. Special thanks to Scott and Natalie Lori Reyna

Average at Best

Liked: Nice toiletries in rooms. Most of staff pleasant and helpful (except maintenance). Kitchen fairly well equipped. Laundry on premises. Disliked: Only two temperatures for water in shower. TOO HOT and TOO COLD! No in between. Toilet really sluggish on flush and maintenance man gave US a plunger to use. Breakfast was mediocre. 3 types of generic cereals in containers to scoop some and orange drink (NOT orange juice). Coffee was good. Overall not a really good value at $100 a day. I would have done better to stay closer to Disney in a nicer hotel or this rate. Did not really live up to my expectations.
