our "mountain" home

Ed and Virginia (the owners) are the best. They are always there for anything you may need while allowing you plenty of privacy. I have stayed in 4 of the cabins. Each is very clean and homey. Prices can't be beat. It is very quiet and has everything one needs for a great vacation. I always ask for reservations at Top of Townsend before looking any place else. My last visit was in June 2008. Christmas 2008 reservations have been made and I am looking so forward to it.

It has become a second home

The owners are very nice. My family has been to 4 different cabins. We return over and over. We have stayed at other cabins in Townsend but return to Top of Townsend as the best. The personal touch of leaving homemade jellies and staples (sugar, salt,pepper, flour) etc. makes you feel very welcomed. The cabins have plenty of towels, dishes, and anything one needs. We are from Mississippi but consider Top of Townsend our second home.
