Under The Hemlock, Dawsonville

My wife found this place and took me for my birthday weekend and it was great! Both of us needed a good break from work and this was so quiet and serene. Mike the owner was very friendly and the cabins that he built are wonderful. We had a great time and plan to come back again sometime in the fall.

We had an amazing camping experience just this past weekend and we will be going back for sure. The owner, Mike, cares about his customers...very accomodating and makes sure every one feels safe and sound. He provided us with plenty of firewood to keep our campfire going. The cabins and bath house are super clean. Highly recommended.

Comfortable, great location, friendly service, camping at its best. We have stayed here twice now and have been extremely happy with our accommodations both times. The cabins were hand built by the owner Mike- who is very friendly and accommodating. He brought us firewood. The restroom and shower area was equipped with a heater, as was the cabin which also had a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. There is a picnic table and BBQ grill for each cabin which we took full advantage of. The cabin/campsite is only about a mile and a half from the Amicalola State Park which has mountain hiking and the Amicalola Falls. Wonderful trip. We will be back. Highly recommend this camping/cabin site for anyone seeking an outdoor adventure

this place is more what we look for, don't care much for big commercial campgrounds. under the hemlock for us was great, the sites were large in size, only 12 total. the bathhouse was newly remodeled, hope to go back soon !

we like to camp, but we don't like sleeping in a tent! the cabin are perfect, it's a great middle between camping and cabins. still felt like we were camping with a great sense of comfort, knowing we were prptected from bad weather tim orlando fl.

My family and I stayed in a cabin just this past weekend and had a very memorable time. We hope to come back soon with some friends and their families. The cabins provide everything you need, with the exception of a bathroom. The clean bathhouse is right behind the cabins, which made for an easy walk with little ones. They provided firewood, as well as gret hospitality. Mike and his family were friendly and very accomodating. We are excited to plan a trip back to our new "luxury" camping spot.
