Room was cheaper than other motels/hotels that I priced in the area. Our room was clean, man at the desk was very nice, seemed to be in a safe area & was close to the visitor information center & lake. They do have road construction in front of the Motel but wasn't a problem getting there - just follow the directions from the Bay Motel website. Motel is not fancy & the single bed room we stayed in was not large so if thats what your looking for go else where. If you looking for a cheaper, clean place to stay in a safe area this will work for you. Would stay here again if we are in the area.
We found this place when we were having no luck finding a cheap place to stay. We had stayed at the motel 6 in duluth a few days earlier and it was gross. Our room smelled like dirty feet and the blankets were rough and crispy. The bed was crap. Then we found the androy. Cheap comfy and clean. They say the 4th and 7th floors are haunted as well although we saw nothing strange. It was a great old hotel and id stay there again.
i loved how the room was very clean and the people at the front desk were very polite. Also, It was less than a mile from the lake. I highly recomend it :)
Based on the reviews we read, we booked the room and were very unhappy with it. Clean, and Quiet, yes; but sheets need replacing (very thin), new pillows (very thin).
A small private owned motel that has very reasonable rates-very clean rooms- an owner and manager that are very friendly, and extremely helpful.
The rooms have dorm fridges and microwaves in the room. They have wake up coffee in the office.
The motel is located near good resturants, and stores.
This is a excellent travelers motel where you can park right by your room door. The rooms are quiet, and located near many interesting sites, including Lake Superior.
We were passing through Superior with our street rod and needed someplace safe and secure to stay the night. What we found was a real nice place spend the night. Clean and comfortable.
An excellent choice for those needing a clean room while checking out the Twin Ports. Privately owned and well maintained. The owners go out of their way to make sure everybody is welcomed.
