Lynmouth is fab. Even in peak season it is not spoilt and has plenty to offer, sadly thats not the case with the Bath hotel.
The decor is dated tatty and smells.
A dirty brown carpet on the bathroom floor is a definate no no.
Lynmouth yes the Bath hotel no.
We recently had a few days in Lynmouth at the Bath Hotel.
It has obviously seen better days, the room was very clean but the decor was tired and the furnishings dated.
The location near the harbour was good although parking could be a problem, but the hotel itself was disappointing, the hotel appeared to cater more for the very elderly.
The food and service was satisfactory if a bit average.
As we found out the Bath Hotel is definitely not the best place to stay in Lynmouth, anyway not for a romantic break away from it all.
