We will never go back

While we were checking in, the front desk manager was training another clerk. She never paid any attention to our questions. Ms Tesa Montgomery was rude and told us we couldn't even check in but then as we were walking away she said she'd fit us in, even though we had reservations from the day before.
Then, we were not informed of the smoking policy and we were charged $250 on top of our bill! We were shocked since there was nothing in our room indicating there was that policy.
The next morning, at approximately 5:30am the smoke alarm went off sending everyone in the hotel OUT the door!!! It was a false alarm no one got much sleep. We were exhausted that day and cut our beach time short because of it.
After complaining to the General Mgr, Mr. Vil, he took up for his employee and NEVER even heard our complaint.
This is not a good place to rest your weary head...it is torture from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. They lie and take your money$$$!!!! I've stayed at many Marriott's and this is the worst I've ever seen.
