Heaven On Earth!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/7/08
My family and I stayed 8 nights at Embassy Suites and it was AWESOME! The hotel is located in a wonderful area close to the beach and shops. The new beach walk development is great and has lots of restaurants and shops. My favourite place was Red Mango which served frozen yoghurt with your choice of toppings. There was a great variety of food at breakfast (which was included in the price) and the Managers Reception was a great way to wind down after a busy day. The staff were very friendly and helpful making my stay pleasant. If I ever return to Waikiki I will definitely stay at Embassy Suites again and I would highly recommend it to anyone especially families.

Going back and can't wait to get there.
By male, 5/29/10
Well never stay anywhere but Embassy Suites, anymore. First the rooms are just great we get the 2 bedroom 2 bath suite when in Hawaii great for the family. The breakfast are great and the managers reception is a nice fit have a couple drinks then head to dinner. I do think one of the nice things about this hotel is it's location close to beach and can walk just about anywhere. Never need to rent a car and that saves alot of money. When we were there in 2008 for our 25th wedding anniversery the staff was great front desk concierge maids well everybody quick to take care of you. My wife and I like the location for it's proximenty to diamond head, the reason is we get up every morning and walk to the top and back before breakfast. the view is amazing and a great way to start the day and yes we get to the gate when it opens. Heading back in july of 2010 and were just counting down the days to sit on the beach and do nothing. mmmmmmmm. So if you want to great place to stay and close to everything you need you found it.

Would stay again.
By deand, 6/12/09
The hotel was very clean and close to the beach. Every night was live Hawaiian style music. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, it was great with 2 teenagers. We had a pool view and you could even see the ocean from our balcony. We booked 2 excursions through the hotel, I would not advise taking the Sea Life Park and Kaula Ranch Tours, very disappointing for the price. A lot of resturants near by the hotel. Renting a car is a must so you can see other parts of Oahu.

Just we needed
By J, 8/22/09
Was just here for 7 nights with my family of 4, and i think we got a great deal. We prefer the Embassy Suites in all our travels, and this one doesn't disappoint. Location: trendy new Beach Walk complex with even a discreet Denny's restaurant near upscale dining like Roy's and Ruth's Chris + near the less crowded part of beach and Army Muesum. Perks: gratis breakfast, afteroon cocktails, and internet in our room. Amenities: used coin laundry & business center, and concierge staff was at their best. Parking: $25/day valet only, but that's ok with kids in-tow on vacation. Room: 8th floor Hula Tower small suite, but great to separate the kids from the parents. Ahh...i miss Waikiki already.

Great hotel in great location
By steve, 1/5/09
We spent 4 nights at this hotel. OK, so it's only beachview instead of beachfront. But, the hotel is very nice, the breakfast is outside in a pleasant setting with an ocean and mountain view, and they have free mai-tais [with local entertainment] in the evening. It's about a 3 minute walk to the beach, and the hotel is in the middle of everything. ABC stores are all over central Honolulu, and are an inexpensive place to buy all sorts of great things you need [snorkel gear, liquor, beach towels, sunscreen, etc, etc, etc, along with souvenirs]. There is one right outside the side door of the hotel. It's easy to walk to restaurants and shopping, or you can catch a bus nearby Overall a great place, and we'd gladly stay there again!
