Alegria Inn, La Paz

I loved: their rooms, gardens, pool, ponds terraces, breakfasts, service, location and dogs. Their rooms were lovely: 400 thread cotton sheets, down pilows, comfortable beds, large rooms with tv & dvd player in some rooms. Grounds: Huge property with lush and very green - full of flowers & unusual palms. You would never know you are in the Baja. Large Coi pond with several turtles. small lotus pond. Location: 3 minutes drive from town and only 5 minutes walk to the beach (WARNING: not swimmable). Lovely sunsets and tons of whales during whale season. White sand huge dunes with a large salt water lagoon. Tons of local birds. The location of this Inn makes for a very private and secluded vacation. The house dogs (Chocolata) love to walk to the beack.
