It was a nightmare
At checkin we were treated to bullet proof glass, handled that. The vending machine selection included underwear. ok The rooms were small but clean and the bathroom was newly done. I made the mistake of looking out the window, which was cracked by what resembled a bullet hole. Our first night there around 4:15 we heard a knock at the door someone telling us we had their cell phone. The bangs got louder and the person on the other side wanted in no matter what kind of lock was on the door. The phone did not work and I could not find the number for the front desk of couse it was not on the one that would make sense. The knocks stopped and we got through to the desk. The girl at the desk sounded like she may have known who it was. We called her back because of couse she made no effort to let us it was ok. We were told she found his friends and he was in control. We spent the next couple of hours watching the hotel info channel which consisted of 6 different security camera views of the lot, lobby, stairwell you get the picture. Once it was light out and I was not afraid to leave my room we checked out. The owner asked if we wanted to try it again. There was not enough anxiety pills in the world to go through another night wondering what could have happened if that man would have broke through that door.
