Belterra Casino Resort And Spa, Florence

No "real" non-smoking area. On one floor of the casino there was a small section of smoke free slots, but just at the end of the same large room filled with smoke. On the other floor, a small room at the same end, but no door, so that was useless. A non-smoking area in a room is like a non-peeing area in a pool! There was no place to go in the whole building to get away from it. Even in the non-smoking room I had, it was worse than being in the hallway, not sure what the deal was with that! The clothes I slept in and others in my luggage that never left the room had to be washed as soon as I got home they smelled so bad. The slots were the worse I've ever played. Even the penny slots required you to bet large quantity's to have a chance at making it worth your while. Should have called them dollar-penny slots. And I guess since there wasn't anywhere else close by to eat, they could get away with charging almost $20 per for an average buffet. The desserts were good though! And one of the "my choice" managers was a real smartass.

We made reservations wk ahead. Ask for non smoking, king. After a 5 hr drive we arrived to a smoking, 2 double. Had room sprayed 2 times by housekeeping didn't help. We planned to stay 2 nights, left next day. We ask if we could be moved. Didn't have anything. Told to call before we come the next time. They don't decide until the day of if they have what we ask for, and it is just a request. They don't have to give that. Just a room. Most people very nice, 1 very rude. They need to get their act together. They took charge off for first night, 2 was a comp.so that did make it alittle better, but had to end trip early. Everything else was very nice. Good food. Won't stay again, can't take a chance on room, but I don't think they care!!!! Saw other people leaving because of same problem.

My now deceased husband and I were some of the first guests at Belterra. We are not "high rollers" but we love to play. We like the area, other than getting to it, and the people are always friendly! The hot tubs in your room are a plus we enjoy and the variety of slots is always fun. We like it the best of any of the Southern Indiana casinos! My daughter goes with me now and she has told many people about it.

our room was beautiful, very comfortable,and very clean,i would recomend this hotel to to anyone.the service was great. the outdoor pool is also great.a little bit of a drive but it is worth it to us.

I love every thing about the casino, but I guess I don,t spend enough money to get any perks. Most of the time the buffet was wonderful, but the last time it did not stand up to its usual great standards.Any stay --the rooms were as good as Vegas...

My aunt brought me and my mom. We really enjoyed ourselves. I thought it was a wonderful experience. Now me and my husband are planning us a trip by next month. I thought the help was so friendly. They where so polite. I have a birthday next month and hubby asked what i wanted and all i could think of was a trip back to belterra.He says of course. But really its fun and its a wonderful place to just get away from the everyday hetic lives we all live. Thank you

it is very clean. i win most times i come. only the last few times i didnt win. but i like the wheel of fortune. it is an all around and unique place. see ya soon

THAT'S RIGHT.....WE HAD FUN....WE HAD RELAXATION.....WE HAD INTRIGUE ON THE STEAM BOAT.....FOOD WAS WONDERFUL.....STARBUCKS A DELIGHT.....WHIRLPOOL SPA RELAXING...BAGS WAITING FOR US IN THE ROOM......EMPLOYEES COURTEOUS AS ONLY WE FROM THE SOUTH KNOW WHEN PRESENTED WITH IT...HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE WITH ALL OUR QUESTIONS.....OUTSIDE PICTURESQUE; SWIMMING POOL INVITING; WOULD LOVE TO PLAY THE GOLF COURSE NEXT TIME AROUND FOR SURE. LOVELY TIME AND WILL CHERISH OUR BATHROBES WHEN WE GET THEM.....MY QUESTIONS IS HAVE THEY BEEN MAILED TO US....CARD NUMBER WHEN PLAYING SLOTS IS 1122663.

ROOM RATE WEEKDAYS ARE NOW EXTREMLY HIGH. ASK WHEN I ACALLED ABOUT WI-FI SINCE I HAVE A WI-FI RADIO WAS TOLD NO PROBLEM . WHEN I TRIED IT WAS TOLD IMPOSSIBLE WI-FI ONLY FOR LAPTOPS AT $10.00. I RUN A PER HOUR. I OWN A CAMPGROUND AND MY WI-FI IS FREE TO ALL I ASK IF NEW ROAD WAS OPEN TO 71 TOLD IT WAS FOUND OUT IT WASNT. HOEEL LOOKS NICE BUT SURELY A GOUGER. ARGOSY HERE WE COME. we have stayed at the Miss Belterra quite a few times and love it. We have never been treated anyway but great.The front desk staff is some of the best we have ever encountered--always super.the rooms are the greatest,in fact i am on line to book another room.
