disappointing experience
I have never had such a disappointing experience in all my visits with any Caesars properties ever.
Having scheduled a weekend at Harrah’s Rincon on 8-19-11 thru 8-20-11 by my casino host, I have never seen anything get so screwed up in my life. Having been lead to believe that we had a two bedroom suite and good tickets to the Maranda Lambert concert, was to be a very disappointing experience.
On Friday I met our guest from northern California at the casino to check in, only to find out after getting to the room that it was only a one bedroom suite. No one could remedy this problem so my wife and I gave the room to our visitors and drove back and forth all weekend.
Friday night at dinner at Fiores was also a disappointment. This steakhouse is usually awesome, apparently not so any more. After ordering it took at least 50 minutes for the food to be brought to the table. The bone in rib eye that I had was not very good, all bone and fat. The porterhouse that one of our friends had was also all fat and gristle. With the food compensation that we had with our room, I figured to let this go.
Returning to go to the concert on Saturday, when picking up our comp. tickets,
I found that we were sitting in the the very back on aluminum bleachers, I again was very disappointed. I was under the understanding that we had “Very good seats”. After checking the location of the seats, we would have been better off standing in the parking lot.
After not going to the concert, my wife and I decided to play our favorite spin poker machines, only to have the casino personnel come and tell us to stop playing and have all the machines in that area turned off.
Upon leaving the casino shortly after that this e-mail was generated.
So tomorrow I get to look forward to driving all the back to the casino to visit with our friends before they leave. Almost to embarrassed to go and see them off with all that has went wrong.
