Pleasant stay
I had to stay at the Courtyard for a work week. The lobby and bar is quite nice upon entering. The service was friendly, although one of the gals behind the counter kept calling me "sweetie," which I don't much care for. I look fairly younger than I am so I get that a lot, but it was a little grating after the third or fourth time she said it.
The room is kind of small, mostly due to the fact it has a couch. I would rather have switched a couch out for a refrigerator/microwave combo like most hotel rooms have these days. The bed is fairly comfortable but a little firm.
The bar has mixed drinks at the same price as many of the outside bars, and the bartenders make good drinks. The breakfast is pretty good when you get it included with the price (otherwise I guess to the public it is $15). They have someone to make you omelets/eggs, and usually fresh fruit, milk, yogurts, waffles, etc in a buffet style. There are people that bring you juices or water, and both they and the omelet maker accept tips.
The only real complaint I had was the overhead music. It would start about 7am while I was eating breakfast, and was a continuous stream of pop music. It was a little loud and made me feel like I was sitting in a mall. If it is trying to appeal to a "classier" clientele, they should tone it down a notch in my opinion.
The weight room is small but has a good weight set and machines. The pool is indoors.
All in all, it was a comfortable stay.
