A real gem

We loved the Naples Courtyard Inn. The staff, especially Nora, were welcoming, professional, efficient, and helpful when we had questions or special requests. We spent many hours just hanging out in the lovely courtyard with pool and the "chickee" bar. The deluxe suites are especially comfortable and reasonably priced. This is a smaller, family-friendly hotel with an emphasis on service and quality. Our teenagers liked having a shopping mall within walking distance.
The hotel location has advantages and disadvantages. It's centrally located for many activities around Naples but, as a result, it's not a beautiful neighbourhood, a good 30-minute walk to the beach, and perhaps a 10 minute drive to the old town shopping district. The breakfast was OK, overall, but the coffee was terrible, so I brewed coffee in my room, and bought fresh fruit locally. The place was reasonably quiet, despite being on a major road.
Overall, this place is a diamond in the rough, certainly worth recommending.
