Simple little place. Lots of bikers and Harleys like to stay at this place. Good luck sleeping with all of the trains going by.

Its not so bad

The rooms are small but cozy, yes it is across the street from the tracks but if want to be in Downtown this place has the best location within walking distance of shops.

Cold and run down
By ,
This small hotel in downtown Flagstaff is moderately priced, but I got less than I paid for. The room was freezing cold when I arrived and the window A/C unit that doubled as a heater barely raised the temperature after running full blast all night. The faucet handle for the sink was broken, leaving only a small metal piece with which to turn on the water. Parking was limited, and the desk attendant was apparently too lazy to ask any of the owners of the three misparked cars to move so as to make more space. The hotel offers wireless access, but the room I was in had a weak signal. The two downtown at-grade crossings are almost right across the street, so train horn noise intruded throughout the night. Also, there was a police/medical incident on the night I was there that kept me awake for a while.

I always wondered who would stay there!
By ,
I've lived in Flagstaff for 20 years and this is the one motel I've always asked myself, "who in their right mind would stay there?" It's right across from the RR tracks so every 20 minutes trains go by blairing there horns. The people that hang around the parking lot are creepy or drunk or both and it seems like half the time I drive by at night the cops are there over some incident. I want visitors that come to Flagstaff to have a good experience...please, this is not the place to go. Save yourself from this dump.

What a run down dump!!!!
By ,
Just seeing this place was a let down. The manager seems to have issues with helping guests. She was not interested in checking for our reservation. We had to wait, because she was closing. The room was pitiful, old worn out furniture, the bath was miserable, no towels, one extra small piece of no name soap, a shower was moldy and so small that only a very thin person could use( the distance between the sink and the shower was not more than 12 inches) The whole place smelled odd, and the cleaning personel must have forgotten our room for months. The door did not lock and the The motel is located across from the train tracks, which are very busy at night. The parking lot is small and had woerd looking people slouching around the entrance drive. We were so afraid we got up and left at midnight, only spent 2 hours in this dump. We were glad to leave.

Too NOISY!!!
By ,
If you are reading this review, then you are smarter than me who just booked this hotel (walk-in) because it was close to what looks like the old historic part of town. The room is average price for $50.00 plus tax but you literally cannot sleep because the Amtrak and freight trains blast their horns all night long. (I am writing this review at 3:30 AM in the morning from my laptop because I cannot get to sleep.) Even my wife (who has earplugs to drown out my snoring) cannot sleep. Our room is old and small which is not a problem but the floor is creaky, the walls are very thin and the furniture is way to big for the room - the table is blocking about a third of the entry way to the bathroom. The TV, wall air conditioner/heater, alarm clock, microwave, and refrigerator are all plugged into the same outlet (with one of those adaptors that allow six outlets from a standard two outlet) but you can't have the TV and the heater on at the same time because the circuit breaker trips. To top it off the smoke alarm beeped once every five minutes before I figured the battery must be low so I just removed it.

Close To Downtown, But Noisy
By ,
The lady at the front desk is rude and could use some customer service lessons. It is noisy because of the intersection and the train, but if you want to be close to downtown and if you want a cheap place to stay, this is it. It is definately within staggering distance of the downtown hot spots.

Oh my God, do people really stay here!!!!
By ,
This was absolutely the worst motel I have ever seen, you have to see it to believe it. Mold, dirt and noise!!!!! No heating, no toweles, no hangers, carpeting from 1901, bathroom from 1801 with the mold from 1801.

Very economic, but if you want to sleep and trains bother you, this is not the hotel for you.

A dog kennel is better
By ,
OK - we don't like dirt, noise or mold. This sure isn't a bargin at any price. The overhead lamp was held together with scotch tape. There were two dirt worn out towels and the floor was sticky. The noise from the adjacent train continues throughtout the night.
