We look forward to going back.

We felt so welcomed and the place is beautiful. Janet was so nice, everything was so clean, there are all kinds of nice touches and breakfast was great. We loved looking at all of the furniture and wall decorations. This was a real treat.

Simply Amazing
By Tim and Keira, 10/28/09
My wife and I stayed here during our first visit to Philly together. We thought this place was absolutely amazing, however what made the stay even better was the welcome you get from Janet! Janet makes you feel right at home from the second you walk in the B&B to the second you leave. You can tell that she genuinely cares for the place and her guest who stay there. Spruce Hill Manor is very clean and everything is right there for you. My wife and I highly recommend this place and will surely be returning in the future.

We'll always stay here!!
By Paul, 06/30/09
Love the location, short walk to the SEPTA on a nice tree-lined street full of awesome victorian homes. Love the hostess, who knows just how to make you feel at ease, and even drove us to the AIRPORT!!! Love the HUGE backyard, complete with croquet, grill and lots of lounging furniture. Love the decor, which is pretty, but not overdone. We've stayed in alot of B&Bs over the years, and this one is a GEM!

Wonderful place !!
By Susan, 02/14/08
My 3 sisters and brother went to celebrate my sister's bday in Philadelphia and stayed at the Spruce Manor. It was wonderful! We all highly recommend it. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious and lovely. We had a wonderful time sitting up at night and playing cards and talking in our own private living room. It was cold since we there in winter, so we did not walk around much, but the neighborhood was lovely and we certainly would have loved to do that if the weather had been nicer. The owner is terrific. If you stay there, you'll be glad you did.

Wonderful Weekend
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/20/06
The woman who manages this bed and breakfast is wonderful. While we were in Philly, I had some car trouble and she was very helpful. The rooms are very nice with many personal touches and she makes a great breakfast. I send all my friends to the Spruce Hill Manor when they go to Philly.

I loved it!
By Sofia, 12/02/05
It is like living in a doll house! A very nice historical place. My room was very big and just beautiful with all the antiques. I even had my own living room. The hostess was very helpful, she even gave me a lift in the morning. It is perfect for someone who is visiting the university.
