Great Place

We were a little concerned about staying here as we had read bad reviews. Hey the place was great and we will definitely go back. We had a 2 bedroom that had everything you could need. We were there for the SEMA show in November so we did not use the pool but probably could have....the weather was in the 70s each day. We found Bootleggers, an Italian restaurant about a mile toward the Strip, to be excellent. Another venue that is relatvely close is Silverton. This is a casino with a Bass Pro shop attached. This place has everything even golfing equipment. Silverton is towards the strip to Blue Diamond Road then make a left for about a mile. I highly reccomend Cancun......it is just far enough away from the hustle of the strip yet close enough to be there in 5 minutes.

great place

this is a great place stayed here a few years back. the room was aesome and this the only hotel i have stayed at so far that has a kitchen and dining table.the hotels i have stayed at that didnt have a kitchen or dining table have been flamingo laughlin,circus circus reno,maywood inn l.a,and i cant remember the name of an hotel in vegas. the only problem is that its not on the strip or downtown reno.if it wud have a casino i wudnt care the location. im not sure if there is any casinos less than a mile away.other than that great hotel

Beautiful Room

I booked this room as part of a time share presentation. The room was beautiful with a fully stocked kitchenette. The bedroom had a comfortable bed and the master bath had a jucuzzi tub. The living room had a pull out couch and a balcony. There was also a dining room table. The presentayion was quick & painless. Well worth the room. They have a shuttle that drops you off on the strip but if you want to party the night away you'll have to catch a cab

I cant wait to stay there again!!

We had a girls weekend a few months ago and stayed at the Cancun Resort, and we were totally pleased. We had said at that moment that we would stay there again and take the guys back with us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was great about that place. I would highly recommomend this Resort to anyone that I know or run across in the newar future. Thank you Cancun Resort for making my stay there a wonderful experience. Sincerly Stefanie Johnson

Can't wait to go next year!

This place is really nice during the summer. Their huge pool and slides are really nice. I really liked the mexican style buildings, they were really nice. For the kids they offer bored games that can be rented and the resort also has a spa and gym in the resort. One of the many things I likes was that the resort offerd a shuttle bus to different shoppining centers. The vacation was grat, can't wait to go next year!

We didn't want to leave!

We stayed at the Cancun for 5 days in September 2010. The staff was very professional and helpful. They were able to upgrade our unit from a 1 bdrm to a 2 bdrm the night we checked in. We had 2 adults and 2 teenagers in our party and it had plenty of space. It was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. They had an awesome pool yet the resort was quiet after hours. It was very relaxing and stress free for us. The resort is very family friendly. We were close to grocery stores and restaurants. It was close to the strip and we had a cool view. We were able to park directly outside our unit. We not only highly recommend it, we loved it so much that we plan to return next year!

Beautiful Resort - Outside!

The grounds were beautiful, landscaping so neat, clean and well kept. Maintenance people were so busy keeping the outside beautiful, they forgot about the inside. Building #4, third floor - green carpets-dirty dirty dirty. The supposidly white tile floors -grey with dirt-grout inbetween tiles-a dirtier grey. This was in the entry way and both bathrooms. Bath room-shower head coming out of the wall - We had to take showers with our shoes on afraid we would get germs. Heat lamp in the middle of the room-about to fall out of the ceiling. TV didn't work in one bedroom. We had to open the refrigerator door for the dishwasher door to open??? All the rooms need painting, the colors in rooms make the rooms appear dirty. Clean the place up, update the carpet. Georgeous swim area.

Good thing it was free.

I liked that we got three nights and four days for $99 and just had to attend a time share sales pitch. I also liked the bed... very comfortable. But, because they give so many of these cheap trips away, the clientel is very low class; loud, dirty, tons of unattended children, and very rude. I did not like the location; 2 miles from the strip - easily a $13 cab ride, and their "shuttle service" is a joke. Our "jacuzzi tub" jets did not work, and the water was nowhere near hot. Our towels were thin and some even ripped when used. There is one place to eat, and you'll pay $14 for a side of fries and hamburger. Use the kitchen in your room to save money. Free is good, but cheap is not. This place is cheap.
