Hotel Suites La Siesta, Coapinole

I was hesitant at first to book this hotel since 2 of the sites I went to none of them had reviews. I finally found a site that had some reviews on it and every single review was a great 5-star positive review so I booked our trip. The location of the hotel is amazing! It's only 4 blocks away from the Malecon but it's just so quiet and almost hidden that there's not a lot of tourist traffic around the hotel. We stayed in a studio and it was gorgeous! The hotel is a 11-story building on a hill with about 25 available rooms and the top 4 floors are this amazing 5-star restaurant called Panorama. The room was very clean, we didn't see any bugs nor ants. The bathroom was clean and they also have microwave, mini-fridge, stove and some plates and utensils if you were to cook or to heat up leftovers. The bed is a little on the hard side but it reminded me of the beds in East Asia countries like Taiwan, Japan or Korea so I was fine with it. My husband had a little more of a hard time sleeping on it. The rooms are equipped with cable TV, ceiling fan, filtered water by "Ciel" (which is bottled water from the Coca-Cola company) and an amazing view of the whole Puerto Vallarta area. It's one of the few high-rise building in the downtown Puerto Vallarta area. I do have to say that the first block leaving the hotel is very steep, there's a shortcut but it's mostly stairs. I am a bit out of shape so I'm great leaving the hotel but coming back was a workout every time so be prepared. You can always cab back for about 30 to 40 Pesos. I will load pictures I took in a few days when I set up my camera again. The guy at the front desk Pedro was an incredible help, just ask him for advice on where to go and he might be able to hook you up with coupons to go to local restaurant. The closest restaurant besides the one on the top of the building is located 1 block down called "Si Senor." I heard it's pretty good Mexican food but we didn't get a chance to try. If we come back to PV we'll definitely stay at the Hotel Suites La Siesta!
