Nice hotel, not too far away

This hotel has quite a bit going for it - nice rooms, excellent front desk personnel, free Internet access, a local bar, a local restaurant and fairly close proximity to both public transport and Wenceslas Square.
The rooms were good sized, with American sized bathrooms (different from most of what I encountered in Europe) and most of your general electric conveniences (no Iron). The front desk personnel were helpful at every turn and their command of the English was superb - they routinely gave us help getting around, making dining suggestions, and setting up taxi service (680 Krowns for a trip to the Airport - they set up a 4 a.m. reservation for us with no problem).
While you are a little ways away from Wenceslas and the Astronomical Clock areas, they can easily be reached by foot in 15 minutes or so. In fact, we never even used the trains as there was no need. Prague is small enough to be seen almost entirely by foot within the span of a day.
All in all, a very good hotel experience.
