Hotel Honolulu (Hotel Hell)

A terrible holiday experience. Two words about this hotel Dont go!
We'd finished driving around Majorca and our last day was in Palma Nova, to be near the Airport for the next day.
We found the Hotel Honolulu in a list of Easyjethotels. We asked at the hotel desk how much it was for one night for 2 people (bearing in mind this was early February). They wanted to charge us 149 Euros. So, we booked the same Hotel via Easyjethotels' web site for £26 for one night. I paid online and received instant confirmation via an email reservation voucher.
The staff at Hotel Honolulu refused to accept the booking, even though I had paid. The staff (including the manager and assistant manager) were very rude - they said they had not received any confirmation, would not accept my reservation number/voucher/visa proof and eventually asked us to hand over our passports and a non refundable 50 Euros each as a safeguard until payment appeared. We didn't fall for this lame attempt to take more money from us. In the end (after wasting 2 hours at the front desk - mainly being ignored and witnessing the manager being unhelpful and rude to several other hotel patrons), we decided to go to another hotel and claim the money back on our return home. We ended up at the Hotel Sol Magalluf - a much friendlier hotel. We ended up missing the remaining daylight hours.
If they're not going to accept hotel bookings via the Internet, why advertise their hotel via the Internet?
Easyjethotels were very good and said they would sort it all out.
