What a bargain!
An excellent hotel at remarkably low prices. For under £13 a night each we had a good-sized clean room with large balcony, overlooking the sun terrace on a half board basis.
The hotel had a good standard of entertainment compared to many, with Flamenco dancers one night and a very good singer/musician another.
The seating areas were comfortable, while the dining room was clean and bright. There was a an excellent range of food for both breakfast and evening meal, very well presented, though the choice of brussels sprouts for breakfast one morning seemed rather bizarre!
The reception staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English.
Lack of a hair dryer in the room was unusual, but we managed to borrow one from reception for a small deposit. On our last morning they rang us to ask for it back as someone else needed it, so it may be safer to bring your own. The air conditioning in our room wasn't working -this may be because it was out of season. We didn't need it as it wasn't hot weather so we didn't ask about it - hopefully it would work in the summer!
The hotel had a car park. It was a five minute walk to the beach which is wide and sandy. The area itself is a little run down, and in late October very quiet with many shops and bars already having closed down for the winter.
The other down side was the weather - we had plenty of rain, though we did manage a few hours sunbathing by the pool on every day but one, when it never brightened up at all. But you can't blame the hotel for that!
