Fireside Lodge, Big Bear Lake

WOW!!!Don't even know where to start. From our room we were able to see the lake, in the morning it looked so beatiuful. The room was very clean & well kept up. I felt very comfortable there. It was in such a convenient lacation we were able to walk around and enjoy the sites.I really loved it looking forward to visiting again.

My childern can not stop talking about the Fireside Lodge. They can not wait to go back. It was one of the best times we have spent as a family. The rooms where clean and bright the decor was charming, the staff was friendly and more than helpful. The view of the lake was more than we expected. We have stayed at several odges in the Big Bear area and this was the best experience by far. I would recommend the Fireside Lodge to all my friends.

The Fireside lodge was not a good choice for a family of 4. The rooms were dark and spelled moldy. The video selection is sooo outdated, my kids did not want to watch anything they had. The beds were uncomfortable and the rooms were very chilly at night with no extra blankets to be found. In the evening, I saw some kind of bug crawling across the floor.

This place was just wonderful. My husband and i enjoy staying here so much we would for sure recommend to family and friends. We first had rooms next door at the Thundercloud resort which was a big mistake and we where so happy when we went over to the Fireside Lodge. The rooms are clean and decorated very nicely. The outdoor pool was heated, you can walk to the lake and the Village. The owners where very plesant and friendly. This place is highly recommended. Room was very clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and complimentary breakfast was great.View from the room to the lake was wonderful from the second floor. Approx 100 feet walking distance from the lake. Great family atmosphere and within walking distance to the village shopping area and blowing alley.
