The hotel has a small outdoor splash pool, an indoor spa tub, a fitness room, a mini market, and ATM. Parking is complimentary. Will stay here each time I come to Orlando

I spent 2 nights here and it is one of the nicer hotels I have stayed in. The complimentary airport shuttle was a great convenience. The rooms are spacious and very clean, as well as the bathrooms. The king sized bed was very comfortable. I slept like a baby. The breakfast was great, and the staff was very friendly, especially the desk clerk named Chris. He searched diligently for a cab company to take me to visit a friend at 11:00 pm Sunday night. They will get my business each time I come to Orlando.

Staff courteous and attentive. Quiet. Good Location on Bus Route.Restaurants few but not bad. No Shopping nearby. I would visit again... no surprises

THEY'LL STEAL YOUR MONEY!

Don't stay here! The communicationg amoung the staff is horrible! I had a wedding recently and ended up being charged for rooms that weren't even mine! The staff kept charging my card, even though the OWNER had already said I wasn't repsonsible for any rooms but my own, and they continued to charge my credit card without even notifiying me. Then, after speaking to one manager, who released the charges, the second manager came in and charged me again for rooms that weren't even mine, without even consulting with the other manager or the owner. And between all that one of the sales people told me my room was comp, only to find out later that I was not only charged, but charged WAY more than the reciept said! And imagine, all this went down during my honeymoon and the staff refused to fix their own employees mistakes and amazingly the onwer was no where to be found!

Poor Hotel

We found a moldy chicken diner inside the room safe. The safe needed a battery and wouldn't be fixed until the morning. Room thermostat didn't work proprly, the tub stopper didn't work propery. The pool was slightly bigger than the bathtub with no place to sit and no clean towels. The spa overheats and sets the fire alarm off often. Each time the fire department responded red lights and siren. Staff won't even ask how your stay was.

Great for arrival/departure

Spent 1 night here prior to going on cruise. Very convenient to airport. Did not use shuttle, but know that it was available. Pool is outdoors, pool and area is very small and no sun hitting it in the afternoon (we skipped it). Would not be good for little kids unless mom/dad go into the water as well. Has a nice indoor hot tub that is separated from exercise room by large window. Allowed our teens to go back/forth while we could still watch them. Breakfast buffet was excellent (bacon, eggs, waffles, + other continental type foods) Aimed for business travelers, but great for families (that don't care about a pool). I would stay here again. Rooms were average and clean, had a frig and microwave. Sink is inside the bathroom. Were a few restaurants that could be considered walking distance.

Just Ok

Most of these hotels are nice and really are built for the business travler. I got my monies worth staying here, but, the staff was a little on the cold side.

Nice rooms!

We booked this through Yahoo Travel (at a dirt cheap rate) and being that we had never seen or heard of Wingate before, we figured it would be a roach motel. We could not have been more wrong! The room was spacious with many amenities including a fridge, microwave, wireless internet, coffee maker. The bathroom was large and luxurious. We were impressed with the cleanliness and newness of the rooms as well as the hotel itself. The bed was extremely comfortable... we slept like babies. I would stay here again and again. We really got our money's worth.
