Apache Village Cabins, Ruidoso

We took a week long road trip and spent out last night here. It was great. The cabin was a little shabby from the outside. You could tell that some renovations were underway. But the interior was so great!! It was myself, my 2 boys, and my nephew (all teens). We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin and it was PLENTY of room. It is a little ways walk from the local shopping/eating area BUT it is not a bad walk at all...maybe like 15mins. The children were very impressed and we had a GREAT time. Definintely intend to come back!

All together it wasn't a bad place to stay and I have stayed in worse. The location is not as close to the main shopping area of town as they said. There was nothing spacious about it, it was rather small. The prise was a little high for low water press, no place to put anything in the bathroom(no shelve or hooks of any kind), two very tiny bedrooms and a brokedown futon in the living area. It looked like one to many fat guys had sat in the middle. The middle was literally 1 inch off the ground kind of looked like a big U. There was no private deck as advertised, no deck period. I think it would be fine if the owners would just advertise what they have not what they think people want. It was rustic but clean and i do not think it was worth the prise. I will not return to this paticular establishment, and i wouldn't recomend it to anyone.

Near by was an Alien Museum I walked to. Worth the Trip!! Lovely Ski Town most Random fun attractions ever!!

Well I can't write too much of a review, never got to stay there. I made a reservation on their web site and they never confirmed it, no reply at all, Several attempts to reach them on the phone failed as they don't answer or return messages.

ITHOUGHT IT WAS OK. I was not givenn the cabin I reserved and what I was given sure was not the 2 bedroom advertised on the website pictures given, and I reserve 2mnths ahead. Apologies were offered and upon asking for a switch they DID try to accomodate, AND THEY COULDNT but I was VERY disappointed. The bed was comfortable. However a cabin should be bigger than a MOTEL room and it was no more than that...with a wall making 2 bedrooms, and a spider web here and there...Cabin#8..avoid at all cost

I stayed here with my 3 year old in 2004 while my husband was in Iraq! What a great getaway and such nice owners! Stay a MUST!!

The staff is very friendly, and the cabins are very cozy. This place just really makes you feel like you're on vacation. It seems like it is close to everything. My wife and I like Apache Village Cabins so much that we try to go back atleast once a year. For the dollar price, I think it is the best deal around. I shop around for the best deals on everything, and this was by far the best deal I found. Blake & Shannon

We like going to Ruidoso every year for our Anniversary. My wife and I would like to spend our Anniverary at your cabins again this year.

We were in one of the 4 new cabins, and absolutely loved it, loved to fireplace, the deck and all the conviences of home. The bathroom was a little on the small side, but still great!!

GREAT VALUE !!! CLEAN, VERY CUTE, FIRST CLASS IN EVERY WAY! We booked just a cabin room at $49.00 but when we saw the KING SUITE for $89. we jumped on it. Best deal in Ruidoso by far.
